Summary of Impact: Between 05:25 UTC and 09:03 UTC on 01 Mar 2023, a subset of customers using Azure Active Directory may have experienced authentication issues when attempting to access Azure services, Dynamics 365, and/or Microsoft 365 when connecting from China.
Preliminary Root Cause: We determined that healthy authentication endpoints would have been unreachable for users connecting from China.
Mitigation: While validating the health of our authentication services and network, the issue self-healed. After further monitoring, our telemetry confirmed that the issue is now mitigated and full-service functionality was restored. |
